As expected, the cover the full gamut of what you could want in the application. Instead accessible from the `Help` menu you can find all the keyboard shortcuts that NetNewsWire has to offer. I instinctively hold ⌘ all the time in macOS and expect to see the available keyboard shortcuts appear.

On macOS, NetNewsWire looks just like a great Mac application. I think in this case NetNewsWire has a loyal enough following that progress will be made regardless of Brent’s interest and time currently. I’ve got a few out there that are in various states of support based on my interest. This is an argument for any open source project.

Since it’s free, and plans to always be free the main developer (the amazing Brent Simmons) still needs to earn a living through some other means. This also means that the development could stop and if the community doesn’t pick it up then it’s simply done. So until someone decides to add another sync service, NetNewsWire will only have the few options it has now. In an interview I’ve heard with Brent Simmons he said that if someone wants to build in more sync services great, but more services may not be the priority for his time. This is actually one of the drawbacks of open source software. Yes there are () issues () for () sync (), but only start using an application if it currently has the features you need not because it maybe might get them someday. Feedly is supported on the iOS version, but is not found on NetNewsWire for macOS. In fact you only have one cross platform option in Feedbin.
These on device lists won’t sync between devices though. If you’re on macOS or iOS you can store your feed list on device and read new content. Currently, sync service support is sparse.
