And yes you can ReCycle your own loops into it, which is pretty much what you have to do at this point to claim any new sonic territory. I've made drum patterns sound like synths and synth patterns sound like drums. And the fx and controls are good enough to really tweak the hell out of any loop to make it your own. That said, if you don't care that much about an original sound, it's GREAT fun to sit down and start layering grooves and craziness. the chaos drum buzzes, the swooshy wah-wahs and pretty much anything with congos and bongos. RMX at this point has been played out and once you're familiar with it you'll recognize its libraries, tricks and fx in a ton of electronic music these days. RMX is fantastic and Audacity Works is pretty much correct on everything.
